My sister received this in a Christmas gift basket last year and brought it to my mom’s for Christmas Eve family get together. Mom and I ate the whole bag. I sell it at our church youth group bakes sales. It’s a hit every time.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

This salty and sweet white trash needs to come with a warning label because it’s addictive. We loved the bits of Reese’s Pieces throughout. It’s a nice surprise pop of peanut butter flavor when you expect it to be just chocolate. A simple recipe to make for gift giving or just when you want a special snack.

Ingredients

  • 6 cCrispix cereal

  • 2 cstick pretzels (broken into small pieces)

  • 3 cHoney Nut Cherrios

  • 1/2 cReese’s peanut butter pieces

  • 2 choney roasted peanuts

  • 1/2 cplain M&M’s

  • 1 1/2 lbwhite chocolate almond bark for coating

How to Make White Trash

  1. White Trash

    In a large bowl combine cereal and pretzels.

  2. White Trash

    Melt white chocolate according to package directions. (I melt mine in the microwave, 30 seconds and stir; repeat till completely melted).

  3. White Trash

    Pour melted chocolate over cereal and mix until well coated.

  4. White Trash

    Add the rest of ingredients; mix well.

  5. White Trash

    Pour contents onto a pan lined with wax paper.

  6. White Trash

    Let dry until hardened. Break apart with your hands and serve.

  7. White Trash

    Store leftovers in an airtight container.
