Sauerkraut Mushroom Soup with Pasta
So tasty with the savory and sour flavors.


  • 1 mediumonion chopped

  • 2 Tbspolive oil

  • ·pinch of salt and sugar

  • 6 clovegarlic minced

  • 8 cchicken broth

  • 1 Tbspbetter than bouillon roasted chicken bouillon

  • 3 cbaby bella mushrooms sliced

  • 15 ozjar of sauerkraut with juice

  • 1 cditalini or any small pasta of choice

  • ·salt and pepper to taste

How to Make Sauerkraut Mushroom Soup with Pasta

  1. Add oil to large pot. Add the onion and a pinch of salt and sugar. Reduce heat and cook until the onion is browned. Add the garlic and cook 30 seconds. Add the chicken stock, bouillon, mushrooms and sauerkraut with the juice. Bring to a boil. Cover and reduce heat to low. Simmer 1 hour
  2. Add the pasta and simmer 15 more minutes. Taste and adjust for salt and pepper
