Pineapple Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting A delicious moist pineapple cake, topped with a homemade cream cheese frosting and a few chopped walnuts.


  • Cakeingredients:
  • 2 call purpose flour
  • 2 csugar
  • 2eggs
  • 1 tspbaking soda
  • 1 tspvanilla extract
  • Pinch ofsalt
  • 1 (20 oz.)can of crushed pineapple in 100% pineapple juice
  • 1/4 to 1/3 cchopped walnuts
  • Frostingingredients:
  • 1 stickbutter (8 tablespoons)
  • 1 tspvanilla extract
  • 1-1/2 cpowdered sugar

How to Make Pineapple Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large bowl, add cake ingredients. Mix together well with a fork.
  3. Pour cake batter in a greased 13" x 9" cake pan. Spread evenly in pan with a spoon.
  4. Place pan in the oven, and bake for 35 to 40 minutes. Until top of cake appears a light golden brown in color.
  5. Then insert with a toothpick to see if cake is done.
  6. Allow cake to cool completely before spreading on the frosting and sprinkling with chopped walnuts.
