Pan Seared Tuna Noodle Bowl
Yummy Tuna bowl


  • 8 ozrice noodles

  • 2tuna filets

  • 1 cred cabbage

  • 1red chili seeded and finely chopped

  • 1/4 ccilantro chopped

  • 2 Tbspsoy sauce

  • 1 Tbspeach fish sauce and sesame oil

  • 1/4 cbrown sugar

  • 2 clovegarlic minced

  • 1 Tbspgrated ginger

  • ·juice and zest of 1 lime

  • 1 Tbspblack sesame seeds

  • ·lime wedges

How to Make Pan Seared Tuna Noodle Bowl

  1. Cook the noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside. In a saucepan over med heat add the sesame oil. Add the garlic and ginger and saute 1 minute. Add the soy sauce, fish sauce, lime juice and brown sugar. Cook 1 minute. Add the red cabbage and chili and cook until cabbage is crisp tender. Remove from heat and set aside.
  2. Place a cast iron pan over high heat until it smokes a bit. Lower the heat and add the tuna and sear about 2 minutes each side or until desired doneness. Remove the tuna to a cutting board.
  3. Place the noodles on a plate. Top with the veggie sauce mixture. Top with fresh cilantro. Slice the Tuna and place it on the noodle bowl. Garnish with black sesame seeds. Serve with lime wedges.
