Low-carb Pizza Crust
This low-carb pizza crust is soft and cheesy



  • 1 1/2 cshredded mozzarella cheese (low-moisture part-skim)

  • 2 Tbspsalted butter

  • 3/4 cblanched almond flour

  • 2 Tbspgolden flaxseed meal

  • 1 largeegg

  • 1egg yolk

  • 1/2 tspgarlic powder

  • 1/2 tspitalian seasonings

  • ·olive oil cooking pray


  • 1/3 csugar free marinara sauce (homemade or store bought is ok)

  • 1/2 c+ 2 tablespoons shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 10-12 sliceturkey pepperoni

  • 1 sliceham, julienned

  • 1 cbacon, cooked and chopped

  • 1/4 cjulienned or chopped roasted red bell pepper (i used store bought roasted pepper in a jar)

  • 1/2jalapeño, thinly sliced or chopped (or more if you like spicy)

  • ·fresh basil for garnish

How to Make Low-carb Pizza Crust

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F
  2. To make the crust dough, place mozzarella cheese and butter in a medium microwave-safe bowl, melt in microwave for 90 seconds. Stir well with silicone spatula. Add almond flour, golden flaxseed meal, egg and egg yolk, use your hand to combine well and knead the dough for about 3 minutes. Place the dough in a medium bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes ( this process to make easier to form pizza crust because the dough is too sticky)
  3. Line parchment paper on 10×14 inch baking pan, grease with cooking spray. Place the dough on greased parchment, use your hands to press the dough to form a 8×10 inch pizza crust. Sprinkle garlic powder and Italian seasonings over the crust
  4. Spread marinara sauce over the crust and sprinkle 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese over the sauce. Place pepperoni, ham, bacon, roasted pepper, and sliced jalapeño over the cheese. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons mozzarella over the meats
  5. Bake the pizza in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes until the crust is golden brown, garnish with fresh basil
