Delicious to have on your favorite salad.
3/4 ccanola or light olive oil
1/2 csweet onion , chopped or vidalia (when in season)
1/4 ccider vinegar
How to Make HONEY ONION VINAIGRETTE
- Place one Tablespoon of oil in saucepan and heat over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and cook stirring frequently until browned and caramelized, about 5 minutes.
- Pour in cider vinegar and stir well to loosen bits on bottom of pan.
- Pour entire contents into blender. Add remaining oil. Blend on high for two minutes until well blended. Refrigerate several hours before serving.
