Garlic Butter Shrimp Pad Thai



  • 4 Tbspsoy sauce

  • 2 Tbspfish sauce

  • 2 Tbspwhite vinegar

  • 3 Tbsphoney

  • 1/4 tspred pepper flakes

  • 1 lbjumbo shrimp raw peeled and deveined

  • 2 Tbspoil

  • 6 clovegarlic minced

  • 3 Tbspbutter

  • 8 ozrice noodles

  • 3 largeeggs beaten

  • 1 Tbspoil

  • 2 cbean sprouts

  • 4scallions chopped green and white parts separated

  • 1/4 croasted peanuts chopped

  • ·thai basil and limes for serving

How to Make Garlic Butter Shrimp Pad Thai

  1. Mix the ingredients for the sauce together and set aside. Place 1 tbsp of oil in skillet and add the eggs cook until set on the bottom and then fold in half. Transfer to a cutting board
  2. Add the 2 tbsp oil. Cook the shrimp until they start turning pink. Add the butter and garlic and cook until shrimp is done. Stir in the sauce.
  3. Cook the noodle according to package directions. Slice the eggs into strips. Stir the noodles into the shrimp mixture than add the egg strips and white parts of green onions.
  4. Serve garnished with bean sprouts, dark green parts of the scallion, basil and nuts. Squeeze a wedge of lime just before eating.
